Terms of use

These terms apply to the Deepline apps and the website deeplinechess.com, operated by [legal name], [address] ("we"). By using Deepline you agree to them.

What Deepline does

Deepline starts and stops chess engine servers in your own cloud provider account (Verda) and lets you use them from ChessBase, the Windows app and the Android app. It also shows live tournaments from the public Lichess broadcast service.

Plans and licenses

Third-party software and data

The engine is Stockfish, free software under the GNU General Public License v3, which runs as a separate program. Live game data comes from Lichess (lichess.org) and is licensed by Lichess under its own terms. Deepline is not affiliated with Verda, Lichess, ChessBase or the Stockfish project.

No warranty, limitation of liability

Deepline is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost games or data, or cloud provider charges, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
